BlueKonnect 2.0: The Second Flight

Different Paths. One Shared Journey. One AGSB.

Building on the success of last year’s pioneering BlueKonnect program, the Ateneo Graduate School of Business Student Council launched BlueKonnect 2.0: The Second Flight—a renewed and expanded community-building experience in our Rockwell campus, designed to bring together students across tracks and life journeys.

What began as a pilot initiative to strengthen student connection and engagement has now evolved into a growing Student Council tradition—one rooted in the belief that meaningful graduate school experiences extend beyond the classroom.

This year’s installment carried forward the spirit of the original program while introducing a renewed identity and experience centered on one shared message:

Different Paths. One Shared Journey. One AGSB.

BlueKonnect 2.0 was designed not merely as a social gathering, but as a continuation of a vision first introduced through the last year’s BlueKonnect—to create spaces where students can form authentic connections, engage across disciplines and tracks, and build a stronger sense of belonging within the AGSB community.

From the opening moments to the final activities, The Second Flight carried the energy of movement and convergence—mirroring the very nature of graduate school life. Students arrived from different tracks, professions, industries, and life stages, each bringing their own story and perspective into a shared space intentionally designed for interaction and discovery.

Participants took part in a series of interactive and team-based activities, including Human Bingo, Track FGDs and the Amazing Race challenge, where teams navigated stations that tested communication, creativity, trust, adaptability, and teamwork.

The stations reflected not only playful competition but also deeper lessons often experienced throughout the AGSB journey:

  • Identity Lift-Off encouraged teams to establish shared identity and purpose.
  • Turbulence Tower challenged participants to communicate and collaborate under constraints.
  • Blind Navigation highlighted the importance of trust and guidance.
  • Crisis at 30,000 Feet reinforced coordination and problem-solving under pressure.
  • Mission Magis reminded participants that meaningful progress often comes through collective effort and shared mission.

Throughout the event, students moved beyond introductions and exchanged something more valuable—stories, encouragement, and new connections.

BlueKonnect 2.0 also reflected a broader vision of what student life at AGSB can be.

Graduate school often unfolds alongside demanding careers, leadership responsibilities, entrepreneurship, family life, and personal commitments. In this context, opportunities to pause, connect, and build community become increasingly important.

This was the spirit behind The Second Flight.

The event’s visual identity—marked by converging lines and the symbolic eagle—captured the idea of distinct journeys moving toward a common horizon. It served as a reminder that while every student’s path is unique, the AGSB experience becomes richer when shaped through collaboration, support, and shared purpose.

The Student Council extends its gratitude to the students, volunteers, faculty supporters, and event partners who helped make BlueKonnect 2.0 possible. Their support and participation transformed the event into more than a program—it became a reflection of the kind of community we continue to build together.

As BlueKonnect continues its journey beyond its pilot beginnings and into its second flight, its message remains clear:

Community is not built by similarity alone, but by the willingness to journey together despite our differences.

And in that shared journey, we continue to discover what it truly means to be One AGSB.
