As we look back on this year’s Women’s Month celebration, the AGSB Student Council reflects on a campaign that became more than a commemoration—it became a space for meaningful conversations, shared experiences, and honest reflections on leadership, growth, and resilience.

Through LeadHERship Reimagined, members of the community came together to celebrate the many ways women continue to lead across different spaces and seasons of life. Beyond achievements and titles, the campaign highlighted the realities behind leadership—the quiet perseverance, the balancing of responsibilities, the courage to keep showing up, and the impact created through service and authenticity.
One of the highlights of the initiative was the Women in AGSB feature series, which spotlighted inspiring women from the AGSB community and shared their unique journeys, insights, and perspectives on leadership and purpose. Through these stories, the campaign aimed to make leadership feel more personal, relatable, and grounded in real experiences.
The celebration also extended into meaningful conversations through the LeadHERship podcast series produced in partnership with AGS Broadcast. Across featured episodes and discussions, speakers reflected on the evolving realities of leadership, representation, personal growth, and the importance of creating spaces where women are empowered to lead authentically. The collaboration helped bring the campaign beyond static content and into conversations that encouraged reflection and dialogue within the community.

Throughout the month, the stories and discussions reminded us that leadership is not always loud or visible. Sometimes, it is found in consistency. In empathy. In creating opportunities for others. In choosing to move forward despite challenges.
Anchored in Ignatian values and transformative leadership, LeadHERship Reimagined emphasized that leadership is not simply about individual success, but about uplifting communities and creating meaningful impact for others.
While Women’s Month may have officially ended, the reflections and conversations it inspired continue well beyond March—and perhaps that is what makes initiatives like this truly meaningful.
To everyone who participated, supported, collaborated, and shared their voices throughout the campaign: thank you for helping create a community that continues to champion inclusive, compassionate, and purpose-driven leadership.
Because celebrating the women who move our communities forward is never limited to a single month.
